Parsons Green is the leafy, low-key corner of Fulham built around a real park green — locals walk dogs, kids play football, and on sunny weekends the pub terraces spill onto the grass. It's residential but buzzing, with a young crowd filling the bars and gastropubs most nights of the week.
New Kings Road and Fulham Road run either side of the green, lined with independent cafés, wine bars, and restaurants that feel more "local secret" than "guidebook stop" — while still being a short hop from the King's Road, Chelsea, and the river at Putney Bridge.
Parsons Green station is directly served by the District line, sitting between Fulham Broadway and Putney Bridge. Trains run roughly every 6–10 minutes. Two more tube stations and two bus routes are all within easy walking distance — you've got options whichever way you're headed.
3 minutes from the front door. District line, Zone 2, step-free to platform level.
Fulham Broadway (District line) is a 15–18 min walk south — handy for Chelsea FC and the Fulham Broadway shopping centre. It also connects onward toward Chelsea itself.
Both stops are a short walk away. The 14 runs to Putney and up through Chelsea/Knightsbridge to Piccadilly Circus; the 22 runs to Putney and through Chelsea to Piccadilly Circus too — handy above-ground alternatives with river and King's Road views.
Stamford Bridge (Chelsea FC) is a short walk via Fulham Broadway, and Craven Cottage (Fulham FC) sits by the river — both easily walkable or one quick stop on the District line.
